what going to happen is she is going to "do something" about a rider minding his own business then be in jail for the rest of her life just like the idiot redneck that tried to run over the other rider

At least this ex-cop has enough sense to know that people don't just go out on rides looking to knock peoples mirrors off for no reason.

As an ex-police officer, I can attest to how difficult it is to chase down and apprehend sports cyclists who are showing off and running at speeds between 120 and 150 mph. All we can do is scrape their dead carcus' off the streets once they... wreck. The best advice I have for motorists is to stay out of their way and, as one indiviudal posted above, not challenge them. Most of them are out showing off the prowess and skills and they are not out to take on a 4,000 lb automobile. This doesn't mean the conduct is condoned and it most certainly is unsafe, but then so it texting and driving and using a cell phone while driving. Quite honestly, I'd rather run across an experienced "show off" than someone texting or talking on the phone . . . . .good story David. Maybe the NTRCOG can fun a joint law enforcement task force to patrol the highways with sports bikes of their own and apprehand some of the more dangerous bikers, but unless and until something like that is funded, no city is going to go out on their own and try to apprehend sports cyclists gone wild . . . .
