Sounds like I need to see what it will take to mod my stock footbrake holder to hold a honda caliper since I have several of them.. and buy a bigger rotor so I can finally upgrade to a big rotor and see what the hype is about..
/threadjack... sorry

Calipers to? I am using my 04 calipers with 05 forks and rotor. Seems to be fine. Never knew about 05 calipers also.

Any calipers will work, the main thing is that your rotors and forks are from matching years, otherwise you might need spacers.
The black nissin calipers from 07+ zx6r and also newer zx10r's are an upgrade, I have them up front and they are way stiffer than my stock 04 calipers.

Like stated above if running a different year of calipers than front end then you may need spacers.. My buddy found this out the hard way.

see now there should be a problem there with yours... the newer rotors need to go with the newer forks... they are infact bigger... are you sure the pads are hitting the rotor like they are supposed to?
