u should just stick to what you know... i've welded on my bikes, rah's multiple times, turtles and others with out disconnecting the battery or ecu. whats what might be hard to wrap ur little head around is that if you ground the part you are directly welding to it closes the the circuit and wont harm your electronics... while the ppl below dont give any type of fabricating resume you can see im not the only one that follows by that rule. Should I keep going? cuz all its gonna be is more ppl saying that they've never had any issues and neither have I. If you ground close to the weld area then there is virtually no risk
