Going smaller up front is like going bigger in the rear, gives you more low end. If it were too much and you wanted to "tame" it a little you would want to go larger on the front or smaller in the rear. Front sprockets are less money and for every tooth you go down in the front is like adding ~3 in the rear, think it's closer to about 3.25T when you work out the ratio. Can't remembr of the top of my head and my sons going nutz so gotta go.

a smaller front sprocket would make the ratio even lighter..

I'll keep the 60 around and hope to grow into it but I think I'm gonna rock stock even if I do progress to lot. At least for the mean time.

Everyone that comes direct isn't neccessarily an asshole they just gotta low tolerance for bullshit Rah, but I won't underestimate. I never met the guy!
