The guys who put on the XDL Show <a href="http://www.xdlshow.com" target="_blank">www.xdlshow.com</a> (you can read about it in the new Super Streetbike) want to host a stunt series and have brought me on board to manage and help promote the events (as well as announce) <br />
<br />
The first event will be in Phoenix, May 13-14 That event will be a part of an event called GT Live the last GT Live event there had 48,000 people (type GT Live in google)<br />
<br />
the rest of the events will be announced soon. it will probably be about 5 total.<br />
<br />
The people at XDL are commited to showcasing stuntriding in a positive, professional light. With that being said, they came to me and asked about our competition format, rules and judging. All of the suggestions I made were put in effect and with that, here is the basics.<br />
<br />
-An invite only series of events that hold the same rules and formats for each<br />
-Paid, quality judges, utilizing the criteria we established for the xsba (which is currently accepted and utilized by every major competition)<br />
-A $10,000 purse for pro freestyle at every event<br />
-A few other fun competitions throughout the weekend to spice it up a bit, featuring prizes from event sponsors<br />
<br />
The XDL show was featured on a 30 minute show called Redline TV on Speed Channel, so I expect these events to get the same or better coverage from the media.<br />
<br />
A few of the companies that sponsored XDL include: Buell, Triumph, BFGoodrich, Red Bull, Falken and more...<br />
<br />
I expect great things out of this series!!
