About a week ago I noticed my kawi making a strange whirring/whining noise around 4-8k rpms. It does it while rolling and while in neutral, with the clutch in and with the clutch out. I'm still trying to pin point where it's coming from, but I was curious if anyone on here has heard this noise before or has any ideas on what it could be? It almost sounds to me like it's louder on the shifter side but it's hard to tell. <br />

At this point I'm thinking it could be a vacuum leak somewhere, something with the timing chain, something in the head, the stator maybe, or a bearing inside the tranny. Any help would be much appreciated as I want to get this fixed and get back to riding asap! Thanks!

i am sure there is already a thread on this but I am curious to how people setup their suspension. I know a lot about bikes but i am not very knowledgeable about suspension so if someone wants to post up and explain everything that would be awesome

Figured I would start a thread and see how people feel about streets now and what not. I personally feel that all big street rides are now going to be dead and the police are not going to be playing games anymore. Whats everyone elses thoughts on streets and big rides? Not only do I think they are done but I personally feel that more people in cars/ trucks are going to take matters into their own hands if they get fed up with us stopping on highways and slowing way down to 20-30 on highways. Whats everyone elses thoughts?

i had to replace my fork seal today. the front end feels like shit now. breaks my arms when it comes down and almost wants to throw me in a tank slapper. this is on my 07 r6s with an 06 r6 front end (USDs)<br />

i never messed with it before, i just rode it as it was and it was fine, but u gotta back the preload all the way to take the fork apart to replace the seal. tried messing with it back and forth like 10 times to try to bring it back the way it was but just cant get it to feel right again. <br />

im squidy as shit so but i can still tell its a big difference. <br />
<br />
any help on how to set it up would be greatly appreciated.
