This thread is about the tear down &amp; rebuild of the motor from my 89 lx that I'm swapping into my <b><u><a href="http://stuntride.com/vbstunt/showthread.php?t=5638" target="_blank">'66 FORD FAIRLANE</a></u></b> <br />

The donor is a 89 lx with 115k. I knew it would need some cleaning, refurbishing so I did a comp test a couple weeks ago and got great results in all 8 cyls (135psi+) and the AOD was rebuilt 3k ago so I decided just to freshen up the motor instead of a complete rebuild. I am also adding GT40p heads(explorer heads),explorer upper/lower intakes as well as a trick flow cam/springs.<br />
