Leatt Enters sport and street market
Posted by: thomas - 02-18-2011, 04:47 AM - Forum: Motorcycle News and Press Releases - No Replies

February 9, 2011-(Santa Clarita, CA) The Leatt Corporation has been the U.S. leader in motorsports neck protection since its release in 2006, with the exception of the street and sport market. Due to body positioning and gear selection, the current GPX models have not been widely worn by the street and sport riding community. Understanding the need for neck protection, for all motorcycle riders, the Leatt Corporation has developed the STX Brace. The STX is the worlds only sportbike specific neck brace. The Leatt STX Brace will be unveiled at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo at 10am on Friday, February 18th , booth #2017, and on display for the remainder of the weekend.

The STX brace has a radically different design, to accommodate a speed hump or back protector, which are standard equipment for street and sport riders. Riders will also immediately notice lower front and rear table assemblies, which provide ample range of motion, while in a full-tuck or looking through a turn. The STX Brace will be available to the retail customer April 2011; the STX is offered in three sizes, two color options, and will retail for $395-$410.

Leatt Corporation is the only neck brace company that has a testing facility to properly design and develop neck protection products. With a medical doctor, Mr. Chris Leatt, and a team of biomedical engineers on staff, you can be confident that the STX brace, and all Leatt products, are produced with rider safety in mind. Leatt has sold well over half a million motorcycle neck braces and is proud of how many potential injuries weve saved off road riders from, says Phil Davy, Leatt Corporation General Manager. We are now very excited to be offering the street riders a specifically designed neck brace and hope to add many more riders to the list of saved by Leatt motorcyclists. For more information, please visit www.Leatt.com
New iii HB big rotor kit for 04-05 and 06-07 gixers with 2 piston foot,4 piston HB
Posted by: CAPONE - 02-18-2011, 12:44 AM - Forum: Stunt Companies - Replies (18)

Great news for 04-05 and 06-07 Suzuki Gsxr 600/750 Stunters. Josh from III Aka integrated innovations cell (805) 432-2948 45 mins from Los Angeles, finally has there new hand brake kit done. Now you can have a 2 piston as your foot brake and 4 piston as your handbrake. I'm currently running there 2 4 piston caliper kit so I'm pumped that now I can have a 2 piston as my foot with still keeping there custom big rotor setup. So for the riders with my current iii set with 2 4 pistons. U just need the new bracket and 04-05 gsxr600/750 rear 2 piston caliper and you'll have the complete set up. For the riders that have been waiting for the new design. It's $575.00 for costum front big rotor in the rear and bracket. He will have a full kit price soon including the 2 piston and 4 piston with brake line so you don't have to worry about looking for the parts on gixtown.com etc. I'm pumped since the 4 piston for foot brake was to touch for me and rode footbrake tricks much better back when I had dual 2 piston. But the 2 for hand didn't cut it. Josh chose the 2 piston for foot from 04-05 gixer since they are stronger then 06-07 rear 2 piston. Easier to buy parts as well. For the newer riders. Stock oem brake pads on all calipers is the way to go. Longer life and heats your calipers less. Also not as touchy while still have more then plenty stopping power even when you wanna snap back 80mph sit down rev limiters. my kit never had any problems and I'll be giving feedback asap. Pre order your cuz the couple goin fast. Here are pics of my current setup. you can trust it to lock up 1 finger easily and miles and miles of jumpin around at 70 without cookin the rotor etc without brake abuse, but def can ride it alot if you wanna.
