Trying to put some money together to put into MD FAB.<br />

So my friends 600rr hit the crank bearings on #2 and 3. Did not run outa oil it seems. Crank had some strange black burning marks running from the journal in the direction of crank rotation. A older mechanic said its because we run normal multigrade 20W50 oil and not full synthetic. Now the 2 questions are:<br />

1: Would full synthetic automobile oil work. (From good manufacturer)<br />
<br />
and<br />
<br />
2: Heard alot of mixed feelings about just changing to full synthetic. Things about oil not mixing and seizing the engine. Others say I must use a flushing agent to first flush the motor. Then others say I will hurt my gearbox and clutch plates with the flush. <br />
<br />
So WHO the F#CK is right? I dont wana seize my crank too! Luckily his crank was just polished and measured up a-okay.He needs new bearings now.<br />

Any and all advice would be cool!

Hi all been into stunt riding for about a year and love it , squiding it up at my local spots and making progress , but would be good to meet up with other riders in the area from time to time as it gets a bit boring on your own , any other riders out there that dont mind a squid coming down , let us know cheers

Yeah... Bad news first I guess, so I got a ticket yesterday for my license plate being mounted vertically instead of horizontally. The total of said ticket is $1160. I have an out of state license, license plate, registration, and insurance, but I'm living in florida. <br />

Good news is, I never actually broke the law. The retarded officer who wrote the ticket tried to tell me, in his macho matter-of-fact attitude that it was illegal in louisiana to have my plate mounted vertically. So I did a little bit of research. Not only is it legal to have my plate mounted vertically in LA, but I can even do it in FL if i have a prepaid toll account! Which I do have of course.<br />

I'm fighting this one to the end, because according to everything I've found, I've broken no law. Not to mention having a $1200 fine on improperly mounted tags when running a red light is only $262 is bullshit. The fine for my 'infraction' is completely unreasonable.<br />
