Hey guys, so today my clutch completely died on me, it's at the point where I can't even go into a wheelie because of how bad it is, just revs up and that's it.

So anyways, I will be on the market for a clutch kit and I wanted to get info on which kit you guys usually run?

I was told that a barnett kit is a good choice. I was wondering if I should get that, OEM, or one of those $70 kits from ebay?

I bought a bike, sight unseen, relied on word and faith..and it delivered.

Got my bike 2nite from "Jewishboy" aka James Smith from St Louis and he said everything it was and more. I sent him money, he sent a title and i waited 2 weeks to get it, and it was worth it. i was shady on buyin sight unseen but James was 100% honest and i was so happy good ppl exist. Thanks alot James for keeping your word and staying honest

Also a shout out to Jim from "Gateway 2 Gateway" shipping. He was on uship.com and he was awesome! Kept in touch and bike was in exact shape when it left. Hes located out of St.Louis so guys il pass the number if you need anything shipped. He charged me $290 to ship from St.Louis 2 Jax, Fl enclosed
i did today like 2-3 minutes of some burnouts and i fucked up the engine .. what do you think could have caused this? too much oil? a small crack which had expanded coz of the pressure? im trying to see if i can prevent it somehow for the next engine coz this for sure cannot be welded, starter also has a fresh small crack
02 F4i.
i get my subcage in the mail, and the first thing i do is try to put the pegs on.
THE BOLTS WILL NOT FIT IN THE HOLE. and this is on both sides! i held the thing up and looked at it carefully. where the bracket part of it meets the roundbar part of it is completely off. by about 1/4" the bracket part of it has a hole, and the roundbar has a hole, then what they do is weld them together, and somebody was smoking paintchips while doing it.
what really gets me is how you would send something out like that without checking first to make sure the bolts can go in it and its useable. obviously there is no quality control.

so now not only did i have to bust my ass on a roof working heavy construction breaking my fucking back in jersey city to afford this $200 subcage, now i have to pay time and money to go to the post office and send it back. plus it holds back my restoration by several more weeks.

the icing on the cake is that they dont toss it in the garbage where it belongs, and just send me a new one and say sorry. they just simply drill it out and send the same one right back to me. when i opened this thing up i got furious and wanted to throw it out the fucking window. i sent them a letter specifically stating that i am not willing to drill it out because it will be a botch job, it will rust, and then the bolt will sit crooked.
so what do they do? they drill it out. and now the bolt sits in there crooked and the safety and strength of it is compromised because the head of the bolt does not sit flush.

plus my subframe is practically mint, never bent straight as an arrow. the width of the subcage from inside to inside is 9 5/16"
my subframe ears from outside to outside is 9 1/2"
it has been powdercoated, and even after stripping off the powdercoat from both my subframe and subcage, i had to grind down the ears on my subframe tremendously, in order to get it to fit. this kind of crap really burns my ass. plus i've tried to call and talk directly to ian about my 12 bar, which is a completely different subject all together and i could go on even more about that one. and what i get is one of those deals where some guy answers the phone, i tell him i want to speak to ian, he says "hold on" and then comes back and says "may i ask whos calling" then comes back again and says sorry he's busy. so its obviously one of those deals where he said someones on the phone for you, and then he said "who is it? and then said screw it.

after i've spent almost a thousand dollars on your business. which i also stated in the letter. I have cage, subcage, clipons, 12 bar, cage sliders which cost extra since you sell cages without sliders, and tailsaver, and all of this is what i get.
